Abstract

The problem of referential integrity is discussed and a proposal for dealing with it in a relational framework is described in some detail. The proposal is consistent with a more general integrity scheme also sketched briefly in the paper. The referential integrity aspects of DBTG are analyzed in terms of this proposal.
