Abstract

In this paper, we present a user-friendly visual interface called MELQUERY for performing table driven manipulation of relational databases on ME1666 multimedia engineering workstations.

MELQUERY converts the user inputs to SQL, an equivalent international-standard database query language, which is then used to access the databases.
