Abstract

This paper describes a multi-media database system based on the object-oriented data model. The database language MANDRILL/QUEST, is similar to IS0 SQL and is extended to represent objects and the relationships among them on database. This paper describes the power of MANDRILL/QUEST to represent data in real world through multi-media document modelling.
