Abstract

As the applications of DB/DC systems expand, DB/DC systems are growing very rapidly in terms of size and functionality. Distributed database and composite sub-system management facilities are developed in XDM, the strategic DB/DC system program product of Hitachi,Ltd., to meet recent users' requirement. As a result of these functional extensions of XDM, it is possible to construct a large-scaled distributed DB/DC system with high performance and reliability.
